To celebrate March 13, 2013 as “3.13 Day” in the D, we at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital partnered with retail company Pure Detroit for this special occasion.
Every baby born at Sinai-Grace on March 13 is being outfitted with a “Born in the 313” onesie, and every mother will be gifted with some Pure Detroit goodies. Sinai-Grace Ob/Gyn physicians have been sporting the attire as well throughout the day.
We’re thrilled to partner with a business that aims at promoting our beloved community, and we’re happy to provide these new families with special celebratory gifts.
The event has come as Pure Detroit honors a milestone anniversary.
“What better way to celebrate our 15th year of being in business than welcoming new life into the city of Detroit?” said Ryan Patrick Hooper, director of communications & culture for Pure Detroit.
The first Pure Detroit store opened on Thanksgiving Day in 1998 in the David Whitney Building on Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit. Since then, Pure Detroit has grown to three locations each located in landmark Detroit buildings – the Fisher Building, the Guardian Building and GM Renaissance Center.
